CEBU CITY (Feb. 21, 2015) — Nissan Cebu Distributors, Inc. expects a boost in Nissan’s market share in Cebu with the introduction of the all-new compact truck, the 2015 Nissan NP300 Navara, as the all-new sub-compact SUV Nissan X-Trail continues to sell “like hotcakes.”
The sole Nissan authorized distributor in Cebu launched last night (Friday, Feb. 20) the new Navara at the rotunda of SM City Cebu. The NP300 came only four months after the company launched the all-new Nissan X-Trail.
“We’re excited about the prospects of the new Navara,” quipped its general manager Julie Sy Tio. “The inquiries and reservations have already overwhelmed us.”
She joined Nissan Cebu chairman Peter Yap in unveiling the 2015 Nissan Navara NP300 with chief service officer Perkins Yap and chief marketing officer Peterson Yap, and other officers of the Cebu dealership.
Nissan Philippines, Inc. first launched the new pick-up truck at Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Manila last Feb. 2, a second after Thailand among 180 countries worldwide where Nissan Motor Corp. distributes the vehicle commercially.
“Nissan NP300 Navarra is both tough and smart. That’s the beauty of this pick-up,” noted Tio.
