Pag-IBIG awards Johndorf as Vis-Min ‘Top Developer’

PASAY CITY (Feb. 27, 2015) — The Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF), commonly known as Pag-IBIG Fund, awarded yesterday Johndorf Ventures Corp. as “Top Developer” for the Visayas and Mindanao.

HDMF CEO Darlene Marie B. Berberabe with her deputies and fund trustees handed the award for JVC with its subsidiary, Prohomes Development, Inc., to the company’s CEO and president Richard Lim.
Lim received the award after Vice President Jejomar Binay gave the “Pag-IBIG State of the Fund Address” during the gathering of Pag-IBIG stakeholders at the SMX Convention Center in this city last night.
Pag-IBIG had recognized Johndorf as the “No. 2 Developer in the Visayas” last Nov. 14, 2014.
Johndorf received the honors from HDMF for developing economic housing projects where a good number of Pag-IBIG members were able to maximize the housing financing facility of the government in the cities of Cebu, Davao and northern Mindanao.
The projects in Cebu under Johndorf include Astana within Johndorf Township Calawisan in Mactan, along with the adjacent Hanniyah Homes II, a sold-out project under Prohomes.

Johndorf also completed and sold-out last year Portville Mactan in Bangkal, Lapu-Lapu City and 148 Residences in downtown Cebu City.
In Davao City, Johndorf has already almost sold-out Portville Davao in Sasa district, as the company continues to develop and market affordable residential units at Pag-IBIG Citihomes, a joint venture with HDMF in Malanag, Opol, Misamis Oriental.
Johndorf also still markets some projects in northern Mindanao that are mostly sold to Pag-IBIG members, while it is now completing the needed documentations for new projects in the same areas, disclosed Michelle D. Chiu-Bacungan, Johndorf sales and marketing manager.
