LAPU-LAPU CITY (March 11, 2015) — Filinvest Land, Inc. turned over today its first socialized housing project in Cebu to some 633 homeowners in Agus, this city.
Mayor Paz C. Radaza sent City Administrator Teodulo Ybañez to join company officials in the ceremonial opening of the 4.2-hectare Sunrise Place Mactan and the turnover to the new homeowners.

A delegation from Home Mutual Development Fund (HDMF) led by Senen D. Catingub Jr., wholesale lending assistant department manager, also came to witness the homeowners led by Jonalyn Lenor who are all Pag-IBIG members formally receive their new homes.
Sunrise Place Mactan features a contemporary tropical theme with all of its 633 housing units sold to mostly government employees and workers at nearby economic zones and businesses in the area, according to Filinvest Area General Manager Allan G. Alfon.
With the assistance of the HDMF, the Pag-IBIG Fund, the new homeowners acquired their new homes for a monthly amortization of about P2,927.12 a month, he disclosed.
Sunrise Place Mactan is an exclusive gated community replete with wide concrete roads, streetscapes, a community center, fully landscaped open spaces and facilities for drainage as well as power and water distribution.
