CEBU CITY (July 26, 2015) — Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI) broke grounds yesterday for the fifth building at One Oasis Cebu in Kasambagan that will have a scenic view of the Cebu Golf & Country Club.
Called The Fairways II, the building will stand with 209 units that will be ready for occupancy by the end of 2017, according to Archie M. Igot, its project development officer.
This developed as One Oasis Cebu has become a flourishing community in a secure environment, complete with resort-inspired amenities and functional facilities where investment is already tangible.
It captures the view of the golf course on the west side and the central amenity area with a 2-storey clubhouse, swimming pools, covered basketball court and children’s play area by the east, “truly an oasis of lush proportions,” quipped Igot.
With the first four buildings sold out, completed, turned-over to their buyers, a typical 42-sqm 2-bedroom with balcony for the fifth building will start at a package price of P4.1 million.
The price tag is very affordable compared to those sold by competitors that offer theirs at P500,000 more, even if their amenities could not be at par with One Oasis Cebu that is further surrounded by lush landscaping, noted Igot.
Designed for 10-storeys, building five at One Oasis Cebu will have two elevators, automatic fire alarm, detection and suppression system, and security features with CCTV, a back-up generator to service common areas and the elevators during a power outage.
A refreshing haven that carry the FLI Oasis brand, the integrated residential condominium is designed as a cluster of five to 10 storey buildings with 60 percent of the land area retained as landscaped open spaces and resort-inspired amenities.
Filinvest has been a major player in real estate development in Cebu since 1998 with the development of Corona del Mar and Escala in Talisay City and various projects in Lapu-Lapu City as Aldea del Sol, Mactan Tropics and Serulyan.
It is now developing City di Mare, a 50-hectare township at South Road Properties where similar subdivisions Amalfi Oasis and Sanremo Oasis have been constructed, along with the commercial lifestyle strip Il Corso.
The company recently emerged as highest bidder for an adjacent 19-hectare property and looks forward to be awarded the sale from the Cebu City Government, and be integrated into the plans for City di Mare.
Filinvest also built Grand Cenia Residences in uptown Cebu City where a subsidiary operates Quest Hotel and Convention Center Cebu as well as Crimson Resort and Spa in Mactan, and Filinvest Cyberzone Cebu in Apas next to Cebu IT Park.
Owned and operated by the Gotianun-family of Cebu, FLI will soon build an affordable housing project in Mactan that will carry the Futura Homes brand as it recently completed and turnover to homeowners a socialized housing project, the Sunrise Place Mactan.
