Confidence of investors and homeowners are key factors

CEBU CITY (Nov. 16, 2016)Confidence of investors and homeowners in projects developed by Filinvest Land, Inc. (FLI) has been a key factor in the progressive uptake of residential units at Amalfi and Sanremo Oasis within City di Mare at South Road Properties (SRP) in Cebu City.

“Much more now with more than 60 percent of the planned mid-rise residential buildings (MRB) now built and the completion of the amenities of both clusters,” declared Julie R. Castaños, FLI senior manager for project development.

FLI launched over the weekend the fully developed amenities of Sanremo Oasis, and will do the same for Amalfi before the end of the year. Each has a clubhouse, swimming pools in various sizes, gym facilities and landscaped gardens.

castanosCastaños said sales with the high-end Amalfi in the first three quarters this year has been 10 percent higher as compared to the same period last year, while 80 percent of ready-for-occupancy units have already been sold.

“There has been sustained demand in RFO units in Amalfi, especially now that buyers are more prompted to reside with the enticing upscale amenities,” she noted.

She also reports that the third MRB at Amalfi that Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama and Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella topped off last June will be ready for turnover within the fourth quarter.

Units at building 3 have been attractive to several buyers because of its direct open view of the courtyard, she disclosed.

Meanwhile, Castaños shares that 92 percent of RFO’s in five Sanremo Oasis buildings have been sold out. This encouraged the company to target the groundbreaking for the seventh building before the end of the year.

Designed as resort-inspired residential enclaves, both Amalfi and Sanremo Oasis stand with 60 percent of their respective total land area maintained as stylish living spaces.

“Residents can indulge in a perfect mix of resort-inspired amenities, lush landscapes, wide open spaces and impeccable craftsmanship in these conveniently located enclaves,” remarked Castaños.

“In these havens where security, accessibility and modernity meet, every day is a breeze, residents also enjoy all the conveniences of city living, minus the hassle,” she added.

Since 1998

Filinvest has been a major player in real estate development in Cebu since 1998 with the development of Corona del Mar and Escala in Talisay City and various projects in Lapu-Lapu City as Aldea del Sol, Mactan Tropics and Serulyan.

Owned and operated by the Gotianun-family of Cebu, FLI broke grounds for an affordable housing project in Mactan that will carry the Futura Homes brand as it recently completed and turned over to homeowners a socialized housing project, the Sunrise Place Mactan.

The company is now developing City di Mare, a 50-hectare township at SRP where Amalfi and Sanremo Oasis have been constructed, along with the commercial lifestyle strip Il Corso.

It recently emerged as highest bidder for an adjacent 19-hectare property and has been awarded the sale from the Cebu City Government, and be integrated into the plans for City di Mare.

Filinvest also built Grand Cenia Residences in uptown Cebu City where a subsidiary operates Quest Hotel and Convention Center Cebu as well as Crimson Resort and Spa in Mactan, and Filinvest Cyberzone Cebu in Apas next to Cebu IT Park.
